Rocktober is an annual fundraising event by the Camps Bay Community for the Camps Bay schools where we raise funds to improve and build classrooms and assist disadvantaged children in the area. We are expecting approximately 1000 Camps Bay parents and community to take part in our fundraiser and Auction event. 

 

Last year was an incredible success, raising over R100,000 for the school. We are lucky enough to have some wonderful parents at Camps Bay and some very talented ones too! The Rockerfellas and other wonderful South African acts will be headlining the event.

 

WHAT SPONSORS GET IN RETURN

 

Cape Town is a network of business people and social media, not to mention the fact that we touch thousands of past and present Camps Bay School parents. The school has its own database of parents who are contacted each week by newsletter.  Whilst we cannot give you this database, you are welcome to make use of this newsletter if you wish to put something out there for your business, product or brand.  We will also ensure that we drive your sponsorship through the various social media channels that will connect to our already big following.

 

 

AUCTION PRIZE SPONSORSHIP

 

We are looking for at the Cape Town community, businsses and brandsthe wine community to assist us with some fantastic fund raising Auction & Raffle prizes.

 

1. Every year we need some of those special items that you no longer need, but that somebody woulf like to own.  It might be a product or range of products that you would like to donate to leverage the word of mouth and other promotional and advertising platforms we offer.  And the it might even be an experience that your business offers.  Whatever the case, we will make your sponsored auction prize get the standout it deserves.  So if you have any of the above, please consider donating some to our auction for a good cause.

2. We're also looking for an overall Auction prize of 100 of South Africa's top wine selections! We would love 6 x top range wines from farms that we can put together to create this fantastic Auction prize. It will be called 'The experiential wine cellar prize'.

3. Looking for small raffle prizes (2 - 3) box wine selection or magnum bottle prizes.

4. If you have anything out of the ordinary to put up as an auction prize - i.e. golf/spa/overnight stay/private cellar tour & tastings etc.

 

Please let us know if you are able to contribute. We have an MC to host and for the auction section of the event and we would love all sponsors to attend the event. If you are able to contribute to the auction prize, we would advertise your farm to the entire camps bay database and then also to our Divine Intervention following on Social Media. 

 

Post the event your brand will be allocated a space in the classified section of the weekly newsletter for the remainder of the year. In addition to that, for a period of 6 months, you will be able to advertise any promotion or campaign through the same newsletter.
